FAQs
The watch
Is 45mm too big for me?
Probably not, if you’re asking. The Seasteel is drawn for wrists of about 19cm and up, and plenty of people with 18cm wrists wear it happily. If your wrist is under 17cm it will wear large, and we’d rather tell you that now. Lug width 22mm, thickness 12.55mm, 100g.
Is it really Swiss made?
Yes. Swiss movement by La Joux-Perret in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Swiss technical development, and the watch is cased, regulated, pressure tested and shipped from Switzerland. We meet the Swiss Made criteria and we’d rather show you the caseback than talk about it.
What’s the movement?
The La Joux-Perret G101, a Swiss automatic with 24 jewels and 68 hours of power reserve. It’s the movement a growing number of serious independents choose over the usual suspects, because it’s accurate, robust and serviceable anywhere in the world. No date, on purpose: cleaner dial, one fewer thing to set.
How accurate is it?
Regulated in Switzerland to within 10 seconds a day. Mechanical watches drift a little with temperature and position; that’s physics, not a fault.
Can I swim with it?
Yes. 300 metres, screw down crown, sapphire crystal. Make sure the crown is screwed in, rinse it in fresh water after the sea, and don’t operate the crown while wet.
What is 904L steel?
A higher grade of stainless steel than the 316L most watches use. It holds a brighter polish and resists salt water and sweat better. It’s harder to machine, which is why most brands skip it.
Why no heritage story?
Because we don’t have one, and we’d rather not invent it. Moore Watch Co was founded recently by someone who couldn’t find a serious Swiss watch that looked right on his wrist. That’s the story.
Buying
When can I buy one?
The first batch of 300 launches in March 2027. The waitlist gets first access and the two later colourways before anyone else.
What does it cost?
US$2,445, duties and taxes included. Free shipping from Switzerland.
Which colours are there?
Orange, blue and black DLC at launch. Green and ice blue follow later in 2027.
What’s in the box?
The watch on its bracelet, a quick-release rubber strap, a bracelet sizing tool, the warranty card and the travel case.
Can I change the bracelet myself?
Yes. Quick-release spring bars, no tools. Sizing the bracelet uses the included tool and about five minutes.
After

Five years on the movement, transferable. The full terms are on the Warranty page.
How often does it need a service?
